Revolutionizing Mental Health Support: SystemSeed Named Finalists in 2023 Global Business Tech Awards

We, at SystemSeed, are thrilled to announce that we have been selected as a finalist in the Tech For Good category of the 2023 Global Business Tech Awards. This recognition acknowledges our team's exceptional work on EQUIP, a digital training and assessment platform for mental health first-aiders in low and middle-income countries.
We are exceedingly proud of the work our UX and development teams have carried out on EQUIP. Being shortlisted for a Global Business Tech Award alongside so many other high-impact organizations and projects is a huge honor.
The SystemSeed team
Our team developed the digital strategy, user experience and interface design, and executed all the development for the EQUIP platform.
The training elements of the platform was constructed on our own Drupal-based open-source learning management system, ANU LMS.
EQUIP is making tangible progress to address the global discrepancy in mental health support, and it's tremendous to see this recognition of SystemSeed's contribution to closing that gap. Colossal gratitude goes to all our collaborators, particularly George Washington University and War Child.
EQUIP was created to address the global discrepancy in mental health support and was made possible by the World Health Organization and UNICEF, with funding from USAID. The EQUIP training and assessment methodology was originated by George Washington University and War Child Holland and has now been adapted for digital access and translated into 7 languages, including Nepali and Arabic.
We’ve been deeply impressed by how SystemSeed transformed the concept into the reality of the digital EQUIP platform, which War Child is already utilizing and benefiting from.
As a social impact-oriented agency, we also donate 10% of our profits annually to good causes handpicked by our international team. Our team specializes in UX and open-source development, creating robust online tools and experiences that amplify our clients' services, optimize fundraising, and/or streamline their operations.
