When building a Learning Management System (LMS) it best to start with 3 things - a clear goal, data on what the market wants and what solutions already exist.

Is Scrum dead?

As an agile coach and consultant I have heard most things around over the years when it comes to the “right” approach to implementing “agile” into organisations or teams. “Start with Scrum” is probably the most used one — also mentioned by me I suppose a number of times. However, this has started to sound a bit squeaky in my ears lately. In the beginning I couldn’t really put my finger on why it annoyed me so much. What’s not to like about Scrum if you want to take your organisation or team into agility? You have short iterations, low time-to-market cycles, reduced number of meetings and your development cycle is closer connected with your core business. Looking in retrospect on what I’ve learned over the years, I think I finally found my answer.

Late last year we blogged about the SystemSeed company trip to Minsk in order to work, bond and be merry. Each were achieved in equal degrees and we came away with revitalised enthusiasm for our work and a shift in what exactly that work would contain.

I’m happy to announce today a turning point at SystemSeed where we will begin to offer service beyond solely Drupal development. For the past 7 years+ we have branded ourselves as Drupal Enthusiasts™ but times change and we must all keep up, not with trends but an ever-moving landscape.

A special note:

SystemSeed, a multinational Drupal agency is once again growing! Because this role is so critical to the team, we would like to leave no stone unturned. Also, because every one of our team members is critical to the success of the team as a whole, we are doing something different.

At SystemSeed, we have always been a completely distributed team - enabling our teammates to do their best work from anywhere in the world. We’ve found that sort of flexibility helps people explore their ambitions, whether that be career development, personal development, or simply seeing the world without letting their “job” get in the way.
